Uranus in Gemini 7/7/25 – 5/2033 

June 7, 2025 was notable. 

Notable enough for me to temporarily come out of my astrological hibernation…  

Because Uranus finally moved into Gemini yesterday after 7 years in Taurus (5/15/18-7/7/25; 11/8/25TAU-4/26/26GEM).

Uranus (like Neptune, and Pluto) is a ‘Celestial Behemoth’ because his travel is slow AF with an equally long influential impact.

Why This Matters?!

 U.S. Noteworthy : the U.S. natal chart (yes, locations have natal charts), has Uranus in Gemini as does the man who governs the U.S. as President. That means both are due for a Uranus return and both so happen to have Uranus in very early degrees, meaning that Uranus return will hit very soon after moving into Gemini (7/7/25) 

 As a return of any planet signifies a new cycle of (*insert relevant planet’s function*), we can understand a Uranus return as a new uprising of energy to reform, casting off outmoded methods in favor of new innovations. 

 Historically, Uranus in Gemini has coincided with innovations for the country that were preceded by significant conflicts; to the extent the U.S. was left profoundly transformed (I.e. Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War II)  

 If we recall that Uranus governs revolutionary ideas and ‘out of the box’ methods, we can also appreciate that genius and madness vary with the perception that bears witness to it. Uranus instigates with energies of revolution and reform but history waits for the victor to tell the tale explaining what the revolution was about and who won it. 

 Either way, we can expect an uptick in ‘Uranian fervor’… strange things, unrest, reformative acts in both directions, rebellion, digital/virtual/all things tech, anxiety & necessary nervous system regulation, channeling for those sensitive to it.

Uranus can feel like trying to quell the voltage of a lightening bolt by absorbing the full power of it into your body and holding your breath…. A constant unsettled feeling of anticipation ..butterflies and acidity in the gut. 

 GROUNDING PRACTICES THAT DEFLECT NERVOUS ENERGY AND REGULATE THE NERVOUS SYSTEM ARE THE BODY’S BEST DEFENSE AGAINST STRONG URANIAN ENERGY (breathing exercises, nature, etc..) 

 Release what must go; it’s harder if we try to hold on. 

 Move toward the innovative solutions that don’t just sparkle in the light with new shine but promise longevity and remember humanity. 

We could be brilliant.

We could be mad.

Whatever we are, Uranus is the primordial alchemist ushering us into a future created by the fabric of our being. 

How will we be remembered?  …….. 

For the record, the point of this post is NOT to feed fear but to validate what you may already be feeling, sensing, and witnessing…  and to offer the reminder that there is far more in play than just one planet. From whichever perspective you’re standing, the final hand has yet to be written.
